• The eligibility criteria to pursue MBBS is to have at least 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.

BSC- Bachelor Of Science

• Bachelor of Science is a 3-year undergraduate degree. It is available in various specializations like B.Sc Nursing, B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Microbiology, etc.

• Admission to B.Sc is done through both merit and entrance test. The top BSc entrance exams include JET, NPAT, CUCET etc.

• You can become a doctor through BSc if you pursue MSc or Master of Science degree in a specialization and then go for PhD degree in the same specialization.

BAMS- Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery

• To take admission in BAMS, you have to get 50% marks in class 10+2 and also have to take biology.

• Admission to BAMS course is done on the basis of NEET 2021 score. However, some colleges offer direct admission without NEET.

• After the BAMS course, students get an opportunity to work in top government hospitals, earning them a salary equivalent to that of a doctor.

• To become a doctor after BAMS, you can also do PhD or MD in Ayurveda or related fields.

BPT Bachelor of Physiotherapy

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy or BPT is a 4-year undergraduate course that deals with the science of physical movement.

• Students with 50% marks in class 10+2 with Science subjects are eligible for BPT.

• BPT admission is based on entrance examinations conducted at national and state level like – IPU CET, BCECE, VEE, etc.

• Many colleges offer direct admission to BPT courses either on merit basis or on first come first serve basis.

• To become a doctor you can continue to do Masters in Physiotherapy (MPT) after BPT and then do PhD in Physiotherapy to get doctorate degree in Physiotherapy.

• PhD in Physiotherapy requires a Master's degree in Physiotherapy with valid marks in the national level PhD entrance examination.
